Chelmer Valley Competition 2020
Club Competition
We will be hosting a club competition as usual. However, this year it will be delivered as an online competition. The pieces will be shared in a ‘gallery’ which will be on our website. A link will be shared showing all submitted entries in December’s newsletter.
The voting will take place using an online form. You will be able to select the entry number of your choice by ticking a box next to it for each category. You can then submit your form by clicking ‘SUBMIT’ at the bottom of the page. We are happy to talk you through this if you are in any doubt. Don’t hesitate to ask! Votes will be kept anonymous.

A number of segments to make a full piece

The Rules
Usual rules apply (see below photo) with a few exceptions allowing for the unusual circumstances.
For this year only, you can represent previous work shown within the last 12 months
You may include up to three photos of each item entered preferably taken against a plain or neutral background to show your preferred views. (You may wish to show a particular detail or grain)
A category will only be judged if there are three or more entries.
The voting will is open to club members only. Email addresses will be validated against our membership list, however, if you know anyone who doesn’t have access to the internet and wishes to vote let us know and we will complete the form on their behalf.
Important dates
The deadline for entries will be the 11th December 2020
Voting will be opened on the 14th December 2020
Voting will take place over the festive period and will close on 8th January 2021.
Winners will be announced in January’s newsletter on 18th January 2021
